Our Primus range of Irrigation Reels offers a cost-effective solution to your irrigation needs, without you having to compromise on features and build quality.

The strong, fully welded chassis and a completely smooth drum wall are all design features shared with our premium Monsun range. Specially produced PE hoses, with a constant 10mm wall thickness are used on all Primus 110mm models, with larger Primus reels above 500m again sharing technology from the Monsun range with the first section of hose becoming 12.3mm to reduce hose stretch in high drag situations.

A four-speed gearbox drives an extra large and wide ring gear which is precision welded to the drum to ensure smooth, constant operation.

A new and unique Computer Control Unit, taking the best features of the popular Constant Rain and Program Rain computers offers users simple and reliable operation.

Primus Reels are available in 12 different hose lengths and sizes, starting with 90-300m Primus 2000 up to the larger 110-650m Primus 3000 II model, meaning GRIMME Irrigation offer reels to suit the needs of the individual grower.

Hydraulic controls are standard on all Primus models, along with integral lay flat hose storage, a large solar panel with battery and charger, alongside a selection of rain gun nozzles.

Available options include a four-wheel chassis, braked axles, signal warning light and telephonic control.

To provide customers with full peace of mind, all Monsun and Primus hose reels come with a full GRIMME 2 year parts warranty covering all major components against manufacturing defects.
