ASA-LIFT VEGETABLE TECHNOLOGY
2013 GRIMME group acquires the Danish vegetable technology specialist ASA-LIFT, Sorø, ca. 80 km west of Copenhagen. Since the foundation in 1936, ASA-LIFT has always enjoyed a reputation for quality, innovation and good craftsmanship. In the 1950s, production started mainly to serve the needs of local farmers. Then during the 1960’s the first hydraulically driven harvester of the world was developed.
Today work over 130 employees in Sorø were harvester build for various vegetables as onions, red beet, carrots, peas, chives and several more.
