THE NEW STORE LOADER SL 919 IN PRACTICAL USE

At PotatoEurope, the new SL 919 store loader with "Quantum" infeed conveyor will be demonstrated in practical use.

The store loader is equipped with a 900 mm wide conveyor belt and a CCI 800 ISOBUS operator terminal.

The SL series store loaders can be used for storing and loading potatoes, onions, red beet, celery and bulk goods.

The new SL 900 series represents the advanced development of the proven SL 80 series. Thanks to the optimised trough shape of the conveyor belt, even higher throughput rates can be achieved. The Quantum feeding conveyor ensures a constantly low drop height, regardless of the swivel angle of the store loader, which can be up to 180°. Due to the optimised crop flow provided by the Quantum principle, the storage capacity can be further increased. Alternatively, a reduced belt speed can be used for smaller throughput quantities, which has a positive effect on crop protection.

The open and slim machine design improves accessibility for maintenance work and reduces the of soil and dirt on the chassis.

As part of the practical demonstrations, the SL 919 store loader with "Quantum" infeed conveyor is used downstream of RH 24-60 Combi receiving hopper. The receiving hopper is equipped with the CLS II stone and clod separator and an integrated picking table. A GRIMME box filler, GBF, will also be demonstrated. The presented storing line is completed by conveyors of the TC series (twin conveyors) and LC series (loading conveyors).

The newly developed store loader, type SL 716, which can be equipped with the Quantum infeed conveyor for the first time, will be exhibited on the GRIMME stand. The machine is equipped with a 66 cm wide and 16.5 m long conveyor belt and reaches a maximum conveying length of 17.7 m with the uptream fitted Quantum infeed belt.

With the new warehouse fillers, three new store filling functions are available.

The new store hall filling functions offer a wide range of features, starting with a pure automatic swivelling between two freely positionable limiting boards, up to an automatic filling of a complete section of the store hall.
